A bit about me
For over a decade, I studied at Delhi Public School, Noida and further I completed my twelfth standard at Delhi's most prestigious institute Modern School, Barakhamba Road. I also attained the merit certificate by CBSE for being one of the top scorers in English. Further, I studied Bachelors of Commerce (Hons) at India's eminent Delhi University. Continuing my interest in business, I graduated from Punjab University with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management in first division, with distinction. ​
All along with my studies, I have very actively participated in theatre shows and dance performances. I have gained abundant opportunities to hone my public speaking skills as an anchor at Annual Day, Sports Day, and Competitions at School and college.
With every minute spent studying at school and university, I have learned so much and eventually have developed a yearning to discover further new theoretical aspects and imply them at work. As a result, I sought to work as an Industrial Trainee at Delhi's most exquisite five-star hotel, The Claridges Hotels and Resorts, in the Marketing and Sales department for a month. Here, meetings with distinguished personalities from the Embassy of France and Gail Ltd gave me unparalleled exposure. At this time, I also engrossed myself by interning at Repindia, a prominent India-based reputation management firm. My month-long internship concluded with a project submission, which observed the Colour Cosmetics Industry, focusing on devising marketing strategies for Sephora and studying the existing ones.
I worked at AIESEC in Delhi IIT, a not-for-profit organization, for a year in the Corporate Incoming Department. My core responsibility was to raise job opportunities in my home country and consecutively interview international candidates, and finally match the right candidate to the right job. I take pride in the fact that I constructively contributed to my team and was honoured to be called a star performer.
Associating with the Placement and Internship Cell of my college and working as a member for four semesters helped me broaden my horizon by networking with students, holding meetings with CEOs and HR heads from different companies, and representing the Placement cell at Job Fairs and placement drives.

Soon I got acquainted with Net Impact (NI), an NGO headquartered in Oakland, California. One of my fond memories as the founding president of the Net Impact Delhi University chapter is from the Drawdown Innovate Workshop, with 13 teams enrolled giving sustainable solutions to reverse global warming. My chapter was awarded the Gold Status in its first year of operation and, during the second semester, I saw a jump of 250% in the members enrolled, 14 to 49. After completing my presidency term of 12 months, I played a vital role as the Advisor to this chapter. It was the second consecutive year in a row when the chapter attained the Gold Status.
