Net Impact Delhi University

A beautiful journey started with a close-knit community of like-minded students handful in numbers yet so close to my heart. NI DU is growing by the day and every bit of me feels proud to say "we" made it happen. At Net Impact we are driven by positive impact on people and the planet.

AIESEC in Delhi IIT

An international youth run organisation head quartered in Montreal, Canada. I was a member of the incoming corporate department, matching the appropriate students to the best suitable internship and company. Interpersonal communication with company representatives (raising internship opportunities), and students (experience AIESEC culture by taking up internships offered). Star performer during my term.

Placement Cell, MSC, University of Delhi

Guided students through an information-gathering process about self and the world of work to determine which academic programs or careers might be a good match for them. Made liaison with companies and arranged for career placement. Organized workshops/ seminars/ guest lectures for the students at the College/University level related to internships and placements.

Bharat Vikas Parishad, East Delhi Zone

Volunteered to coordinate the annual function and rehearsals for the cultural and art performances. We saw approximately 65 senior citizens participate and over 1500 audiences to witness the annual event. My responsibilities during the rehearsals included but were not limited to daily attendance, designing PowerPoint presentations, editing audios, and crafting properties for on-stage performances. During the event, I was responsible for arrangements backstage and the refreshments provided to the participants.

Theatre at Blind School

I can hear aloud the round of applause that thundered on that bright sunny winter afternoon at The Annual Day of Govt. Senior Secondary School for Blind Boys. It crosses the back of my mind in a flash, all the lovely memories we made over the last 45 days of preparing the theatre production with the young boys filled with zest and spirit of joy.

Furry Pals

On the evening of a bitingly cold winter day in December, a small black furry pal was spotted sitting by my car all by herself eating wild plants. The next thing I remember is her getting named Stormy and being passed on in the arms of my family members. She became well acquainted with Pyaari, a golden stray with innocent eyes. Eventually they both became mothers and right now we are blessed with dolls and dudes.
